Coping in an abusive relationship without financial aide.

Leaving an abusive relationship is the first thing coming to mind after an incident. No one wants to live in a scary and abusive relationship and no one wants to love a love less life.

But leaving might be hard especially when the assaulted party does not have financial support or if children are involved and there is no financial source to care for children.

In such cases this lack of finance frustrates affected party and leaves one with no choice than to sit and accept whatever treatment is served.

Abusive relationship is one that should not be experienced or endured by both men and women. And when children are involved, it is even more bad because children learn things easily and hence might grow up doing same.

Below are some measures which should be taken if found in an abusive relationship.

1. Be Calm

It is important to be calm no matter how bad or how heating it is. Also try and avoid getting beaten again by keeping quite when argument is heated. A wise man will always keep shut even if so much is left to be said in such situations.

Keeping calm helps keep situation calm and less heated. Keeping calm also helps one closely observe and think calmly about what has happened. This particular step is needed during an argument or if another argument comes up. Keeping calm doesn't mean one is dumb, it simply means one is being preventive.

2. Quiet Time

Quiet time is next important step to take after getting experiencing physical abuse. It is essential to observe a quiet time which involves being alone for some time to think about whatever has happened and think about how to handle it and finding a lasting solution to it so as it doesn't happen again.

3. Talking Time

A moment of deep conversation between both parties should be observed after such incident. It is important because it helps one pour out mind and express oneself.

However, this stage can be possible only if both parties are willing to have a peaceful conversation.

While conversating, it is important to be mindful of use of words. It is best to avoid using abusive or aggressive words as it might aggraviate anger and make talking time a war time again.

4. Conversation about Children's Mental Health ( If Any )

It is important to talk about the children and their mental health. This is so because watching domestic abuse live at home makes them volnurable, less confident, low self esteem, and believe whatever it is happening at home is right. Abusive partners need to learn and acknowledge bad effect of abuse on mental health of children, hence there is a need to put a stop to it.

5. Plan Ahead to Leave

Bitter truth is, hitting of one's partner is an attitude. It takes only grace of God for there to be a permanent change. By so doing, it is important to plan ahead because such things could happen again.

Mostimes, abuse occurs when least expected which is why it meets one in shock. And best decision which could be taken is leaving silently. However if case be there is no financial aide, one needs to plan ahead so as if such happens again, it won't meet one in Surprise and one can leave silently before it is too late.

Conclusion

An abusive partner might only have a temporary change because beating a partner is an habit and only God can Intervene and change such person's mindset. Which is why it is good for a woman to be independent.
